The Butler Y is starting a new event series known as the Social Justice Spotlight. We will host events centered around specific social justice issues that involve students and encourage them to engage in change. Our first Social Justice Spotlight will be on Thursday, December 7th at 7pm in JH 276. Human Trafficking 101 will be presented by individuals from the local Indianapolis non-profit, Purchased. Purchased works to fight human trafficking in Central Indiana through education and empowerment of the community and girls at risk. Their talk will focus on what human trafficking looks like, here in Indiana as well as what YOU can do to get involved in the abolition movement. If you or anyone you know is passionate about the issue of human trafficking please attend this FREE talk!!
